Bubble Gum Milkshake

Try our Bubble Gum Milkshake  or whatever flavour you would like ie: raspberry or rootbeer
Ingredients
1 cup/250 mL heavy cream
3-4 cups/700-950 mL vanilla ice cream
1/2 teaspoon/2.5 mL Watkins Bubble Gum Flavor
1/4 teaspoon/1.2 mL Watkins Imitation Butter Extract
3-4 ounces/85-133 g frozen whipping topping (thawed)
30 drops Watkins Red Food Coloring
Gumballs, whipping topping, or fresh fruit as garnish (optional)
Directions
Combine all ingredients (except garnish and whipping topping) in a blender and pulse on high until fully mixed, scraping and stirring with a spoon/spatula as needed. Fold in whipping topping until well blended. Pour into serving glasses and top with garnish, if desired.

Michelle’s Secret Honey Butter Spread

Michelle’s Secret Honey Butter Spread
1/2 cup/125 mL unsalted butter  or 1 stick
1/2 cup/125 mL honey
1 tsp/5 mL Watkins Cinnamon 

Melt butter in microwave, add honey and mix well. Then add the vanilla and cinnamon.
Spread will thicken as it sits.
Spread on your favorite fresh bread, crackers, muffins, tea biscuits etc.

Lemon Bust Vanilla Cake

Watkins Cooking Spray
2 cups all purpose flour
1 tsp. baking powder
1/2 tsp. baking soda
1/2 tsp. salt
1 1/2 cups granulated sugar
1/2 cup unsalted butter, softened
 3 large eggs
1 cup nonfat buttermilk
2 T. lemon peel
1 T. Watkins Vanilla Extract
2 T. fresh lemon juice

Icing
3 cups powdered sugar
1/4 cup unsalted butter, melted
1 T. lemon peel
1 T. Watkins Vanilla Extract
1/4 cup fresh lemon juice

Preheat oven to 350 degrees.  Coat two 8 inch round cake pans with cooking spray, dust lightly with flour and set aside.  Combine flour, baking powder, baking soda, and salt.  Set aside.

Mix granulated sugar and butter in a large bowl; beat with a mixer at medium speed until well blended.  Add eggs, one at a time, beating well after each one.  Add flour mixture and nonfat buttermilk alternately to sugar mixture.  Beat in lemon peel, vanilla and lemon juice.  Pour batter into prepared pans.  Bake for 30 to 35 minutes or until a wooden toothpick inserted comes out clean.

Icing
Combine all ingredients in a large bowl.  Place one cake layer on a plate; spread half of the icing on top of cake.  Add the second cake layer and top with remaining frosting.

TIP: Watkins Lemon Extract will remove black scuff marks from luggage and much more.

Cream together:

3 cups sugar
1 cup margarine

Add:

4 eggs
2/3 cup water
1 - 14 ounce can pumpkin, fresh or frozen can be substituted, make sure it is well drained
1 tsp Watkins  Baking Vanilla
1 tsp Watkins Butter Extract (optional) it adds a buttery homemade flavour
1 cup raisins

Combine:

3 1/3 cups flour
2 tsps baking soda
1 tsp Watkins Cinnamon
1 tsp Watkins Nutmeg
1 tsp Watkins Baking Vanilla
Add to sugar mixture.

Pour into 2 greased loaf pans.  Bake at 350 degrees for 1 1/4 hours or until toothpick comes out clean.

Spice Scented Grilled Chicken Breasts







SPICE SCENTED GRILLED CHICKEN BREASTS

Ingredients

2-1/2 to 3 tbsp/40 to 45 mL fresh lemon juice
1/2 tsp/2.5 mL Watkins Garlic Powder
1/2 tsp/2.5 mL Watkins Curry Powder
1/4 tsp/1.2 mL Watkins Pure Ground Cinnamon
1/8 tsp/0.6 mL Watkins Pure Ground Black Pepper
Freshly ground, to taste Watkins Coarse Sea Salt
4 skinless, boneless chicken breast halves

Directions
Combine lemon juice with all ingredients except chicken; mix well. Add chicken and turn to coat all sides. Allow to marinate at room temperature for 15 minutes. Grill or broil chicken 5 minutes per side, or until cooked through.

Chicken Pot Pie



Chicken Pot Pie
6 tbsp/75 mL butter or margarine
1/2 cup/125 mL chopped onion
1/2 cup/125 mL all-purpose flour
2 tsp/10 mL Watkins Organic Parsley
3/4 tsp/4 mL poultry seasoning
1/4 tsp/1.2 mL of ground Watkins Organic Lemon Pepper Blend
3 cups/750 mL water
3 tbsp/45 mL Watkins Chicken Soup and Gravy Base
3 cups/750 mL cubed, cooked chicken or turkey
1 package (10 oz/285 g) frozen peas and carrots, tender-cooked and drained
1/4 cup/60 mL chopped pimento
1 package refrigerated biscuits (6 per package)

Melt butter in a saucepan. Add onion; cook until tender. Stir in next six ingredients; mix well. Cook until thickened and bubbly. Stir in chicken, vegetables and pimento; heat until bubbly. Divide mixture into six individual casseroles. Cut each biscuit into quarters; place four quarters on top of each casserole. Place on shallow baking pan; bake at 450°F/230°C for 8 to 10 minutes or until biscuits are lightly browned.

Chewy Chocolate Chip Recipes

4 1/4 cups/1060 mL all-purpose flour
1 tsp/5 mL  Baking Powder
1 tsp/5 mL baking soda
1 1/2 cups/375 mL butter, softened
1 1/4 cups/310 mL sugar
1 1/4 cups/310 mL firmly packed brown sugar
2 eggs
1 tbsp/15 mL Watkins Original Double Strength Vanilla Extract
12 oz chopped chocolate
Watkins Sea Salt (optional)

Heat oven to 375 F/190 C. Combine flour, baking powder and baking soda in medium bowl; set aside. Combine butter, sugar and brown sugar in a large bowl. Beat at medium speed, scraping bowl often, until creamy. Add eggs and vanilla. Continue beating, scraping bowl often, until well mixed. Reduce speed to low. Gradually beat, adding flour mixture, until well mixed. Stir in chocolate chunks. Drop dough by rounded tablespoonfuls, 2 inches/5 cm apart, onto ungreased cookie sheet. Bake for 12 to 15 minutes or until golden brown. Sprinkle with sea salt while still warm.

No Brown sugar?  For every 1 cup of white sugar add 1 Tbsp molasses (for light) and 2 Tbsps molasses for (dark brown sugar).
